Overview
The ARLAB 600LT Leak Tester is designed to evaluate the integrity of packed strips, blisters, sachets, ampoules and other pharmaceutical packaging formats. The instrument verifies the effectiveness of package sealing and helps identify leaks, pinholes and imperfections that may compromise product quality and shelf life.
Developed in compliance with USP <1136>, the system is capable of detecting even the smallest defects in semi-rigid packaging. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, food and packaging industries for routine quality control and packaging validation.
During testing, samples are placed inside the vacuum desiccator and subjected to a controlled vacuum cycle. Any leakage path allows coloured liquid to penetrate the package, enabling quick identification of defective seals and packaging faults.
